Triumph!

Triumph 150CC

Versatile? Tough? Innovative? All these words could be used to describe Triumph boats, a boat with such incredible features that once you try one you will be saying goodbye to your current fiberglass or aluminum boat. Or, if you are purchasing your first boat you will be able to begin with the best!

And now Campbell River Boatland has been accepted as the manufacture’s dealer for these unique boats that seem custom tailored for both commercial and recreational use on British Columbia’s demanding West-Coast waters.

Versatile –   Models from 12 – 23 feet in side & center-consol models as well as windshield configurations, with weights and design that balance minimal horsepower requirements for maximum performance.

Tough –        Made as a single unit, both the deck and hull are made of pressure molded Roplene, a resilient buoyant plastic that flexes but does not crack or splinter. The result – a dependable and quieter boating experience with a boat that can be beached on gravel, or rocky shores, that would normally damage fiberglass gel-coats or dent aluminum hulls.

Innovative – A heat gun fixes scrapes and gouges and the hull accepts common anti-fouling paints, without the worrisome electrolysis that literally eats ocean based aluminum boats.

Suzuki R450

Suzuki LTR450

The Suzuki LT-R450 is one aggressive looking unit. With its low and wide stance the LT-R450 is engineered to provide race-winning performance.

Suzuki has designed the LT-R450 with a high tensile steel frame for optimum durability.  As the rider you are perched on a T-shaped seat allowing for greater mobility.

A lower centre of gravity is evident as the engine mass and crankshaft are positioned close to the ground.  Its compact and centrally located muffler keeps the weight more even.

The four-stroke, 450cc engine is based on Suzuki’s championship-winning RM-Z450.  For more precise control at high rpm the LT-R450 engine has lightweight and durable titanium valves.

Kayaba front and rear shocks adjust to the rigors of the track or trail. The Suzuki LT-R450 also rides on specially designed Dunlop radial tires.

Hot Grips handle warmers

Through the winter season you can add a little comfort on your next ATV ride with the help of Hot Grips.  The premium grip style above keeps the heat in the rider’s hands.

A weatherproof toggle switch is included allowing the rider to change the comfort level from low to high. The HOT GRIP has a diameter that is larger than your average grip. The more comfortable feel reduces stress on the wrists and hands of the rider.

ATV Connection Magazine calls Hot Grips: “The best solution to cold hands that we’ve seen so far...”.

The Last Word

Being part of a group like the local ATV club is a great way to meet others who share a passion for the outdoors.  It is easy to sign up on their page.

You never know what will happen out on the trails. It is good idea to have someone watching your back.

Ken Hildebrand from Fort McMurray learned that lesson when he lost control of his ATV and it landed on top of him. He was stuck out in the elements for 96 hours. He is lucky to be alive.
